The American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF) is holding a virtual screening of The Blinding Sea, during the week of Friday, October 9th to Friday, October 16th. I will be doing a Q&A session via Zoom to discuss the film with ASF members, on Tuesday, October 13th at 7 pm Eastern Time.

This virtual week-long screening will be coordinated from Scandinavia House – The Nordic Center in America. Scandinavia House is the Foundation’s cultural centre, located at 58 Park Avenue, in Murray Hill, Manhattan, next to the Empire State Building.

The American-Scandinavian Foundation is the leading cultural and educational link between the U.S. and Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. An American non-profit organization, ASF works to build international understanding with an extensive program of fellowships, grants, intern/trainee sponsorship, publishing and membership offerings.

I have used ASF publications extensively while doing deep research for the feature-film version and the forthcoming book version of The Blinding Sea.

The world around us has changed. This week-long virtual screening qualifies as the New York première of my film. Thanks to Kyle Reinhart, Manager of Educational and Cultural Programs, for organizing the event.
