An award-winning filmmaker, author and translator, I have an MA and PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from McGill University, and also completed a postgraduate year in Medical Sciences at Oxford University. I have worked at Athabasca University (as visiting professor), and for a medical research institute at the University of Toronto, a graduate business school and various university health centres affiliated with the Université de Montréal, an NHS research centre affiliated with Oxford University Hospitals, and the University of British Columbia. I have also been a Resident Fellow at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University. I am currently working on contract for McGill University and a public healthcare institution.
