George is currently working on contract for the University of British Columbia and the University of Toronto.

An award-winning filmmaker, author and translator, George has an MA and PhD in the History and Philosophy of Science from McGill University, and also completed a postgraduate year in Medical Sciences at Oxford University. He has worked at Athabasca University (as Visiting Professor), HEC Montréal (affiliated with Université de Montréal), McGill University, the State University of New York and the Université de Sherbrooke. He has also been a Resident Fellow at the Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine at Oxford University.
