I have just learned that The Blinding Sea has won the Outstanding Achievement Award in the Debut Filmmaker Category, at the latest edition of the Tagore International Film Festival in India. This comes as the eleventh award the film has won so far, and Tagore is the seventh festival to honour The Blinding Sea with an award.
