I have just learned The Blinding Sea has won the Award for Best Canadian Documentary in the December 2020 edition of the Cyrus International Film Festival of Toronto.
This festival, most often known by the acronym CIFT, is the sixth festival to honour my film with an award.
Given that The Blinding Sea got two awards at the Montreal Independent Film Festival, and another four at the Nature Without Borders International Film Festival, this is the tenth award so far.
